As long as the fire is contained, and as long as they don't know we have one (and we leave no trace) then it won't be a problem! :D

I have an ammo box full of modern tarps, we have two heavy canvas ones too.

I've got 2 steel firepits, so that's sorted. Might be worth chucking some funds at some bags of firewood while we're at it, as Close Action might not like us pillaging all of their wood!

Maybe, maybe not. Senny had a 'pull' but it was expensive - an ordinary game will be cheaper!

Most comments I saw were people saying they couldn't afford both but that Senny was too good to miss. (Talk about stunt-casting a site into your game plan!)

With a cheaper game more centrally locations they might be able to do both.

Righty-ho, things that we need to bring are....

Lanterns. - I have 3 that I can bring. David to make red gel enclosure. (I also have a crate of six lanterns that I will bring anyway for camp use)

Firepit. - I have a collapsible steel one.

Targets - The short "figure 12", A4 size would be great if you can do them David. (mounted on cardboard). For both the range and jungle lanes.

ID confirmation boards - (A, E, O, P, S, T, X, Z)

Tarp(s) - I have 2 modern ones, ideal if it rains.

Boundary/mine tape.

Chrono (David to bring)

Binoculars.

Radios. (I have some somewhere I think). David has a set of XTNs that just require a set of AA's (as I sold the ones with good rechargeable batteries!)

Have I missed anything? (Feel free to edit this post!).

If it's raining I've got one of these I can bring for the treeless social area and we can throw one of the very large DPM tarps we have over it so it's less conspicuous.

I've added to the above. What do "figure 12" targets look like?

Excellent, found a high res version to use. Will A4 be big enough?

A4 is fine, we don't want to make them too big and obvious!

:good:

Perhaps I'll do a big one on a stick as well for range testing?

Yes, you could bigger ones for the range, perhaps even use figure 12 targets for that (the full length "charging man" target). If we set a few at different ranges, we could even use them as a judging distance exercise as well.

OK, I've now got a high res of charging man figure 11 too - need to print at 17" x 44" for life size.

I see if you scale it to A4 and place it at 25m then it is equivalent to full size at 100m. Flipping heck, real guns are accurate!

Oh yes! One time, I put five 7.62mm rounds into an 11mm grouping at 100 metres. Scarily accurate, as that was with iron sights!
